I recently added a new performance to My Folk Alley page: Jack-a-Roe. It is a traditional folk song about a young woman who dresses up as a man so she can go check up on her boyfriend who has been sent off to war by her mean old daddy. I learned it, long ago, off an acoustic live Grateful Dead record called Reckoning (Dead Reckoning, get it?).
In looking around at my stuff on Folk Alley, I see that there is some wrong info (based on plans that changed) about what "albums" things are on, that the version of "Yellow Moon" on there is somehow missing one of the guitar parts, and that the version of "Scanners Live in Vain" is a different, more reverb-y, mix than the one on Jamendo. All fixable when I get a round tuit.
