If they made a soap opera about F1 auto racing, it would make "Dallas" look like "Little House on the Prairie". If only they could make what goes on on the track half as interesting as the back room backstabbing.

Meanwhile I've been looking at http://ccmixter.org/ which hosts Creative Commons licensed music and seems to emphasize collaboration in the form of remixes. The favourite mode seems to be that someone uploads a bare lead vocal of an original song, and somebody else builds a whole, finished track around it. I'm not that great a singer, but as a consequence, I write songs that don't really need great singing. That's the theory anyway. Most of my existing recordings did not start with a click track and thus are a bit drifty in the tempo department, which would be a problem for prospective remixers, I guess.
